What does "third-party manufacturing" mean for Mondo Yacht?

We manufacture fiberglass hulls, decks, superstructures, and structural components for shipyards and nautical brands, overseeing the entire production cycle from mold design to delivery of the finished product. The client retains their brand and design; we provide the structure, technical expertise, and production capacity.

Which phases of the production process do you manage internally?

We cover the entire cycle: mold analysis and design, model and mold making, supporting metalwork, manual lamination, infusion, and final painting. Each phase is tracked and subjected to quality controls before moving on to the next.

What is the difference between hand rolling and infusion?

These are two distinct production technologies that we choose based on the needs of the project: manual lamination involves the manual layering of fiberglass and resin directly on the mold, while infusion is a more controlled process that allows for a better balance between lightness, strength, and construction precision. We work with the construction site to evaluate the most suitable solution for the required product.

What is the difference between hand rolling and infusion?

We work primarily with top-tier shipyards and yacht and superyacht manufacturers, producing large-scale structural components that require dimensional accuracy and reliable production on a large scale.

How does the first contact for a new project take place?

We analyze the technical specifications and files provided by the shipyard to verify feasibility, timelines, and production requirements. From there, we define the process phases together, from mold design to delivery of the finished product.

What kind of quality controls do you apply during production?

Each stage—from lamination or infusion to painting—is tracked and verified with dedicated compliance checks, to ensure the product meets the required quality standards before delivery to the customer.
